With immediate effect the RM of Wilton has issued a partial Fire Ban.
Another area with a partial Fire ban is the County of Vermilion River. Also, Fire Bans have been issued in the RMs of Frenchman Butte and Mervin.
Wilton officials state that recreational fires are still permitted, but previously issued burn permits are revoked and no new permits will be issued.
