Troy Paul Wade Campbell, 33-years of Lloydminster, is the accused in a court matter as Kitscoty and Vermilion RCMP combined efforts when a Polaris Side x Side, along with a flat deck trailer were reported as stolen.
On Feb. 2 at 10 a.m., Kitscoty RCMP was informed by Vermilion RCMP that they were investigating a commercial break-and-enter where the Polaris and flat deck trailer, had been reported stolen that morning. The side x side had GPS which gave its location on a rural property south of Lloydminster.
Vermilion Traffic Services joined in the hunt. The side-by-side and flat deck trailer were located, and police arrested Campbell.
The suspect is charged with:
- Possession of property over $5,000
- Failure to comply
- Possession of a prohibited weapon
- Possession of a controlled substance
Campbell was brought before a justice of the peace and was released on conditions. He is to return to the Alberta Court of Justice in Lloydminster on Mar. 5.
