Twenty Lloydminster Comprehensive students will head to Ardrossan from April 17-19 for the Alberta High School One Act Festival.
With sanctions being lifted, teachers are back to pitching in for extracurricular activities and the students who have been practicing lines and working on costumes and set designs will get their chance to shine.
The thespians from grades 10-12 include three student directors. They are Izac Verigan directing a play called Elephant Graveyard, Desirae Messmer directing Tuesdays and Sundays, and Emry Marchand directing her self-written play called Yes Dear.
Successful plays will move on to provincials in Red Deer in early May.
