Lakeland College’s James Wilson has taken his winning talent all the way to a gold at Skills Canada in the recent national contest in Quebec.
Wilson is a third-year heavy equipment technician at the college.
The national contest held at ExpoCité in Quebec on May 30-31 featured a few Lloydminster Comprehensive students who also had punched their ticket following provincials in Edmonton.
Some 6,000 students were involved in the final stage of the competition.
