Lakeland College’s Centre for Sustainable Innovation to host open house Saturday

Visitors to Lakeland College’s Vermilion campus this Saturday will get a chance to learn about renewable energy. The College’s Centre of Sustainable Innovation is holding an open house to allow the public to tour its Renewable Energy Learning Centre, which studies renewable energy systems. The event is part of an Alberta-wide Green Energy Doors Open initiative to raise awareness about renewable energy. Those on the tour will be able to have an up-close look at the systems to see how they interact. The event will last from 10 A.M to 3 P.M.
