The Frenchman Butte Museum Festival is celebrating its 34th year, with a full day of heritage, entertainment, and community spirit on Sunday, Aug. 10.
Hosted by the Frenchman Butte Museum Society, the annual celebration kicks off with an outdoor church service at 11:00 a.m., followed by a lively parade at 1:30 p.m. The day wraps up with the crowd-favourite Roast Beef Supper at 5:00 p.m.
Visitors can enjoy a wide range of activities including:
- Heritage exhibits and demonstrations
- Kids’ games and mini-golf
- Live music
- Homemade pie served all day
- Four handcrafted quilts will be raffled at 4:30 p.m.
Admission is by donation, and contributions of homemade pies are warmly welcomed.
Parade entries and antique, specialty, or collector vehicles are encouraged to join in the festivities — with a chance to win “People’s Choice” awards. Participants are asked to gather on the church hill at noon.
