Several Lloydminster students are being celebrated by the Lloydminster Lions for their artwork highlighting world peace.
The World Peace Poster Contest put on by Lions International attracts artistic expression from across the world with the local leg facing other talented youth in Saskatchewan.
Jaiden Keshane from ES Laird Middle School was given the top local accolade. He said his poster depicted “all the countries uniting for world peace.”
President of the Lloydminster Lions, Daryl Oster praised the creativity and passion of all the young artists, and looked forward to seeing their work featured in future contests.

This year’s theme for the poster contest was Together As One “inviting students around the world to envision what can happen when a diverse group of people unites around a common cause or goal.”
Details for young people who want to enter next year are available from the Lions and online.
