Changing Lives, Changing Communities breakfast returns to Lloydminster, May 7

An upcoming fundraising breakfast in Lloydminster is putting the spotlight on inclusion, community connection and the impact of supporting people of all abilities.

Inclusion Lloydminster, in partnership with Inclusion Alberta, is hosting its annual Changing Lives, Changing Communities fundraising breakfast on Thursday, May 7 at the WLS Convention Centre at the Lloydminster Exhibition starting at 7:30 a.m.

Organizers say the breakfast is about more than fundraising—it’s about highlighting how inclusive communities strengthen everyone who lives in them. Attendees will hear firsthand stories from local families whose lives have been positively impacted by Inclusion’s programs and supports.

“This inspiring morning highlights the power of inclusion and the strength of community, featuring stories from local families whose lives have been changed through Inclusion’s work,” says Misty Fischer, Community Advancement Coordinator.

The annual breakfast has become a key occasion for community members, businesses and partners to come together in support of inclusion. Funds raised help Inclusion Lloydminster continue its work supporting individuals and families through advocacy, education and community‑based initiatives.

The Changing Lives, Changing Communities breakfast is open to the public, and residents are encouraged to attend and take part in celebrating the strength of an inclusive community.

More details about the event, including registration information, are available through Inclusion Lloydminster and Inclusion Alberta.

Gerry has lived in Lloydminster since winter 2010. That detail is important as coming from the Caribbean he did not see green grass until May. Now an Alberta/Western Canada resident, you would be hard-pressed to find a stronger proponent of Lloydminster than the news guy that appreciates a healthy dose of rock music and dress code leather. His mantra is focus on one thing and do it well.
