Students from across the Lloydminster Public School Division will be in the spotlight as the annual LPSD Celebration of Music returns to Lloydminster Comprehensive High School.
The musical treat takes place Monday, May 4, 2026, starting at 6:30 p.m. in the JJ Giesbrecht Gym at LCHS, with doors opening at 6:00 p.m. The evening will feature musical performances from every school in the division, highlighting the depth of student talent and dedication to music education.
Audiences can expect a wide range of performances, including groups such as Pursuit and the Prairie Thunder Boys, among many others taking part in the showcase.
The Celebration of Music is open to the public, with admission by silver collection donation.
All proceeds from the evening will go toward supporting the Lloydminster Kiwanis Music Festival, helping continue music opportunities for young performers in the community.
Organizers say the event is a chance for students to shine on stage while bringing the community together in support of the arts.
