Lloydminster RCMP issue warrant for Robert Lee Plourde of Turtleford

Lloydminster RCMP have issued an arrest warrant for a suspect from Turtleford after two men came to the Lloydminster Hospital last fall suffering from gunshot wounds.

Police say the victims showed up on November 10th with non-life-threatening injuries, and investigators later determined the shooting was targeted and gang-related. Officers tracked down the scene and an involved vehicle, then executed search warrants that led to the firearm believed to have been used.

With help from RCMP forensic teams, the suspect has been identified as Robert Lee Plourde (30), a resident of Turtleford, SK. He is charged with:

  • Discharge firearm with intent
  • Possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose
  • Possession of a firearm knowing its possession is unauthorized
  • Three counts of possession of a firearm while prohibited

Lloydminster RCMP is seeking public assistance in locating Plourde who is described as:

  • Medium complexion
  • 5 feet, 10 inches
  • 264 pounds
  • Has tear drop tattoo near his left eye

Mounties say efforts to locate him so far have been unsuccessful.

Anyone with information is asked to contact Lloydminster RCMP at 780-808-8400 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477 (TIPS).
