College Park School has suffered another setback. Because of further construction delays, the school will not be opening its doors in November as they had hoped. The new school initially planned to open in time for the school year, but because of construction delays over the summer, the Lloydminster Public School Division delayed the opening without setting a future date, hoping to have construction finished by November. The school division now says that while construction nears completion, it still is not ready for students, and that they hope to be able to open the school in December. The start date of the Odyssey Community Childcare Society, which will be housed by the new school, has also been delayed.
