Unofficial Results from the County of Vermilion River Municipal Election

The unofficial results from the County of Vermilion River municipal election are in.

Division one will be represented by newcomer Marty Baker. The councillor representing division two is Dale Swyripa, who beat out the former Reeve Daryl Watt. Division three was already acclaimed by incumbent Stacey Hryciuk. Incumbent Lonnie Wolgien will be representing division four once again.

In division five, Jason Stelmashuck takes the spot. Division six has newcomer Clinton Murray elected. In division seven, newcomer Leslie Cusack has been elected.

There were 1691 voters in this election.

In the student vote that is held in schools across Alberta, Daryl Watt, Lonnie Wolgien, Leslie Cusack and Noel McCormack received the highest amount of votes. A total of 20 votes were cast in the student vote in Vermilion River.
