Tetra Tech approved by City to complete East Drainage Rehab Project

Lloydminster has selected Tetra Tech as their engineering and construction firm to complete the rehab on the East Drainage channel.

The channel has seen numerous erosion problems throughout the years starting in 2011, where the City had to install concrete block mats to prevent further erosion. In 2017, the City once again attempted to solve the erosion issue by installing a rip-rap to stop the channel from degrading.

However, both attempts have left the structure further eroded and is now in need of a permanent solution to fix the problem. City council was presented with the project proposal in February and is looking to start construction in July.

The East Drainage Rehabilitation Project is expected to cost $84,722.00 with Tetra Tech.
