City to unveil Canada 150 Mural

Lloydminster will be unveiling the official Canada 150 mural next week. The mural has been a work in progress since it was first introduced in January.

The legacy project commemorates the country’s 150 birthday with 150 communities across the country creating a mosaic to reflect an image of a train. Lloydminster residents had the opportunity in September to participate in creating tiles for the mosaic and is now complete.

The mural’s location will be on the exterior west wall of City Hall and that is where the unveiling ceremony will take place. Residents are invited to join in the reveal on Wednesday, October 10.
