Fatal crash victim ID’d as missing woman

The search for a missing woman has ended in tragedy. Battlefords RCMP says the 30-year-old died in a single vehicle collision on Highway 40 west of Battleford.

The woman was reported missing in the early morning hours of Saturday, September 22nd. She was last seen by family members the day before and hadn’t come home.

The crash report came in around 9:20 a.m. on September 24th. The woman was the only person in the vehicle, and police say she died at the scene.

The cause of the crash is still under investigation. Anyone with information about the woman’s disappearance or the crash is asked to contact North Battleford RCMP or Crime Stoppers.
