Two new COVID-19 cases in Saskatchewan north-west zone

Two of the four new cases of COVID-19 reported in Saskatchewan are in the north-west zone.

One of the new cases was located in the Battlefords subregion, while the other was in the Turtleford, St. Walburg subregion. The other two new cases were located in the south-west zone.

In the north-west zone, there is one active case in the Lloydminster-Maidstone subregion, two in the Turtleford,-St.Walburg subregion, two in the Battlefords subregion and 20 in the Cut Knife-Wilkie subregion.

Another seven recoveries were reported in the province. A total 1,410 people out of 1,586 cases have recovered.

Seven people are in hospital.  Three people are receiving inpatient care; two in the South West and one in Saskatoon.  Four people are in intensive care, all in Saskatoon.

The province says 104 of 154 active cases are in communal living settings.
