Two men will appear in a Lloydminster courtroom after rolling a stolen side by side recreation vehicle near 50 avenue and 54 street. RCMP received calls about the vehicle driving down 36 street towards Bud Miller Park and then driving into the park, eventually found near 50 avenue. The two men fled the scene but were apprehended by LLoydmister RCMP after police dog services assisted with the search. The driver of the vehicle is being investigated on impaired driving charges. RCMP Constable Grant Kirzinger says this is an example of why people should not mix alcohol with driving or recreational vehicles. Kirzinger adds that these vehicles are not allowed for use within city limits unless meeting the requirements of the Traffic Safety Act.
