Saskatchewan in Motion encourages children to walk to school

Saskatchewan in Motion has issued a challenge to children province-wide in the Walk to School Week. This week, children are being encouraged to walk in order to get more excercise. Children, on average need around an hour of physical activity a day, but studies show that less than 15% of them meet those guidelines. Saskatchewan in Motion will be giving away physical fitness prizes to children who choose to walk, as well as schools who sign up for the challenge.
