The Lloydminster Agricultural Exhibition Association and the Lloydminster Region Health Foundation are teaming up once again to host Empowering Minds, a powerful community event focused on mental wellness, leadership, and connection.

Empowering Minds is more than just a presentation. It’s a gathering of community leaders, organizations, and residents committed to reducing stigma, encouraging open conversations, and building a healthier, more connected Lloydminster.

Admission is free and includes dinner, but space is limited. Don’t miss this opportunity to be part of a meaningful evening that could make a lasting impact.

Date: Monday, November 17, 2025
Location: WLS Convention Center
Time: 6:00–9:00 p.m.

This year’s keynote speaker is Ian Hill, a nationally recognized social innovator and humanitarian. Gerry Lampow
Gerry has lived in Lloydminster since winter 2010. That detail is important as coming from the Caribbean he did not see green grass until May. Now an Alberta/Western Canada resident, you would be hard-pressed to find a stronger proponent of Lloydminster than the news guy that appreciates a healthy dose of rock music and dress code leather. His mantra is focus on one thing and do it well.
