UPDATE – Lloydminster RCMP conclude no criminal offenses occurred in Holy Rosary allegations

Lloydminster RCMP have concluded their investigation into social media allegations involving the conduct of a teacher with the Lloydminster Catholic School Division, finding no evidence that a criminal offence occurred.

Police said Thursday, July 2nd, that investigators identified and interviewed all individuals directly involved after allegations of unprofessional behaviour circulated on social media.

According to RCMP, the incidents under investigation had already been addressed by the Lloydminster Catholic School Division when they occurred.

In a statement issued after the investigation concluded, the school division acknowledged the RCMP’s findings and said it would continue to work with police if new information emerges.

The division said its priority remains providing a safe and supportive learning environment for students. It also said privacy legislation and personnel processes limit what information can be released publicly, adding that it remains committed to transparency and accountability.

Lloydminster RCMP say an investigation began Tuesday, June 16, into allegations circulating on social media about a teacher at Holy Rosary High School and interaction with a student.

Gerry has lived in Lloydminster since winter 2010. That detail is important as coming from the Caribbean he did not see green grass until May. Now an Alberta/Western Canada resident, you would be hard-pressed to find a stronger proponent of Lloydminster than the news guy that appreciates a healthy dose of rock music and dress code leather. His mantra is focus on one thing and do it well.
