Toque, parade and midway rides lead Lloyd Ex Fair 2026

Canadian rock band Toque is set to headline the live entertainment lineup at the 2026 Lloyd Ex Fair.

The popular Canadian cover band will take the stage at the Lloydminster Agricultural Exhibition Association grounds on Saturday, July 11, as part of the four-day fair running from July 8 to 11. Web listings for the band’s tour schedule show the Lloyd Ex Fair stop as part of its 2026 summer tour.

The Lloyd Ex Fair is celebrating its 121st year and will once again feature the annual parade on Wednesday, July 10 from 10:00 a.m., midway rides, livestock events, family attractions, fireworks and live entertainment.

Toque, known for performing classic Canadian rock hits, has built a following across the country with performances featuring music made famous by bands such as Trooper, Streetheart, Triumph and other Canadian rock legends.

The Lloydminster Exhibition Association says the fair will include a variety of attractions, including West Coast Amusements, livestock shows, petting zoos, strongman competitions and dog shows.

The concert is scheduled for 9:00 p.m. on July 11 at the Lloydminster Agricultural Exhibition Association grounds.

Parade Marshal

Community fundraiser, and childhood cancer survivor, Jarrod Russell is the 2026 Parade Marshal. Russell has raised more than $300,000 for children’s cancer research through the Great Cycle Challenge and will lead the fair parade when festivities begin on July 8.

The theme of this year’s parade is Livestock, Laughter and Lemonade. The parade route is on the City of Lloydminster website. With downtown construction on the go, the parade will head west along 51 Street to by-pass the construction area, then turn south on 52 Avenue before continuing along 50 Street west turning at 55 Avenue. The route continues along 46 Street pass City Hall, turning at 49 Avenue heading north and ending near the old Civic Centre.

Trade Show

The Fair also features the Trade Show in the Alberta Building with 35 vendors listed including art, jewellery, 3D printing designs, photography, home maintenance, spas, hot tubs and dessert treats. A list of the vendors is online.

Lloyd Mural Fest and Food Vendors

Back for another year is the Lloyd Mural Fest centrally located on the fair grounds. You can stop by on your way to the food vendor area that’s located behind the Alberta Building near the Extreme Dogs Thrill Show.

Several of last year’s concrete mural creations have found a home at locations across Lloydminster. Artists will once again be hard at work painting murals onto concrete barriers.

Meanwhile, the vendors area will be serving up fair food from noon to midnight during the four-day festivity. The food vendors list is online.

Gerry has lived in Lloydminster since winter 2010. That detail is important as coming from the Caribbean he did not see green grass until May. Now an Alberta/Western Canada resident, you would be hard-pressed to find a stronger proponent of Lloydminster than the news guy that appreciates a healthy dose of rock music and dress code leather. His mantra is focus on one thing and do it well.
