City Hall looks for input on household travel survey

The City of Lloydminster has asked for public input on its household travel survey.
The questionnaire is designed to learn about driving patterns within the city, as well as to and from the city. The survey will be done via telephone and mail to 500 random households in the city, along with 200 from the surrounding area.
City Hall says the information gathered will be used in the Transportation Master Plan.
“Creating a Transportation Master Plan is necessary to ensure vehicle and pedestrian routes are able to accommodate traffic patterns as the city continues to grow for the future,” said Terry Burton, Director of Planning and Engineering. “We encourage those residents who are called to take part in this opportunity to help shape future transportation decisions in the City of Lloydminster.”
The city is conducting the survey with Banister Research.
