The City of Lloydminster says the maintenance work at the river intake is now finished and the restriction has been lifted one day ahead of schedule.
“We called on our residents and businesses to lend a hand and reduce demand and they answered, resulting in a significant reduction in usage” said Alan Cayford, Director, Operations.
He adds, “we are pleased to announce the project has been completed one day earlier than planned.”
The City also wishes to thank residents for “reporting all non-essential water use, including the accidental use of the irrigation system at the RCMP Building.”
