This morning, Kitscoty RCMP responded to a two car collision on Highway 16 and Highway 897.
RCMP say a car was heading south bound when it was t-boned by a vehicle heading east on Highway 16. The two lone occupants of each vehicle had minor injuries, they were treated at a local hospital and have since been released.
“It is very important, in regards to crossing any type of intersection or highway, that individuals do look both ways and proceed with caution,” says Corporal Ronald Bumbry.
He adds, “charges are looked at on a case by case basis, in regards to this incident there has no been a charge laid at this time, but all factors are still being looked at.”
The investigation is ongoing, alcohol and road conditions are not believed to be factors.
