Bonnyville RCMP have arrested a man wanted on warrants from Cold Lake.
Early in the morning of Thursday, April 2, a constable patrolling Highway 28 found a speeding vehicle. The officer pulled the vehicle over, and found a 33-year-old Bonnyville man, wanted for two counts of Theft under $5,000 and Possession of Property Obtained by Crime by Cold Lake RCMP.
The police also discovered in the car fuel cards believed to be related to the thefts, a baggy believed to contain methamphetamine, and a pellet gun. The RCMP also learned that he was not legally allowed to drive a car without interlock devices, and the vehicle he was driving didn’t have on
He was arrested and now faces three additional charges – Possession of a Controlled Substance, Possession of a Weapon for a Dangerous Purpose, and Driving while Unauthorized.
