Kids can have some fun at camp this summer but spots are going fast in the border city.
Lloydminster is offering summer camps for children from the age of 3-11 to experience 2 months of recreation including sports and crafting. Activities will vary with each week having specific themes and kids from any community can come and be apart of the camps.
Manager of Events and Programming for the City of Lloydminster Cindy Rekimowich says new friendships will be one of the big takeaways from being involved in the camps.
“They’ll build new friendships, have a lot to do over the summer and enjoy being physically active throughout the summer.”
Rekimowich adds there are over 65 kids participating in the camp a week and there are spots still open.
“We are at 50 per cent full right now to capacity and we just opened up registration to the camp.”
