Take precautions when leaving your vehicle unattended: RCMP

Lloydminster RCMP is reminding people of the ongoing issue of theft from vehicles.

Constable Grant Kirzinger says leaving items in your car can entice people to break in.

“Leaving things in your vehicle, leaving your vehicle unlocked and unattended and running are always things that are going to put you at risk.”

Kirzinger adds there are certain precautions that a vehicle owner can take in order to reduce the chance of theft.
