Women in Lloydminster can have their agriculture work highlighted

Women in Lloydminster in the agriculture industry have a chance to get their story out in a new documentary.

The new documentary ‘Picture a farmer’ is the newest production from Lindisfarne Productions a video production company based out of Edmonton and Maple Ridge, B.C. The documentary aims to focus on women in agriculture and the changing of that role over time.

The documentary is about female empowerment and inspiring people to go forward with their passion for agriculture. Director of Picture a Farmer Kelsey Van Moorsel says often times men are synonymous in peoples minds as farmers.

“Women have always been involved in the farm as well. This highlights that women are taking leadership roles and managing their own operations. They’re doing some great work too.”
