Seven cars carrying liquid asphalt have derailed near Rockhaven, Saskatchewan.
Cut Knife RCMP say the derailment happened Tuesday around 6 p.m. when the Canadian Pacific Railway train was travelling southeast. The cars remained upright and no asphalt was spilt.
Hazmat units were on the scene, but RCMP say there is no hazard to the local community. Also, no injuries were reported and no roads were blocked.
The Canadian Pacific Police Service is on the scene and continuing to investigate.
