The STEP task force is made up of members which include municipal police agencies, the RCMP, and Saskatchewan Highway Patrol. The focus of the initiative is to improve traffic safety across Saskatchewan.
Police from around Saskatchewan have partnered to focus on offences such as speeding, distracted driving, and seatbelt use. Impaired driving will be the top priority. RCMP says it will be set up in various locations around North Battleford and surrounding communities.
