Another hazy day for Lloydminster as high level smoke fills the air as a result of forest fires burning in Alberta, British Columbia and the Northwest Territories. Britannia Wilton Fire Captain Aaron Buckingham says the air is thicker and the travelling smoke has covered the clouds and the sun and can pose a risk to air quality. Buckingham tells Goat News those suffering from asthma or other lung issues should take precaution.
Buckingham says the general public won’t be affected by the high level smoke unless it moves lower and becomes more detrimental to air quality.
