Maidstone traffic stop leads to cocaine bust

A traffic stop in Maidstone led to police seizing a sizeable amount of cocaine.

On the afternoon of April 16th, a lone male suspect was pulled over by the Saskatchewan Roving Traffic Unit for a licence check. During that stop, the officer made observations which lead to the suspect being arrested. During the arrest, police allegedly seized just over 1,100 grams of cocaine.

A 33-year-old from Edmonton, Darin Math, is facing trafficking charges. He will appear in Lloydminster provincial court on July 14, 2020.
