Cocaine seized in Maidstone traffic stop

Saskatchewan RCMP have seized cocaine after a traffic stop.

On May 20th around 9 a.m. a vehicle was stopped on Highway 16 near Maidstone by Saskatchewan RCMP Traffic Services for a broken windshield. The officer made several observations that led them to believe there were drugs in the car.

After a search, around a kilogram of cocaine was allegedly found. The driver was arrested and has been charged.

A 47-year-old from Beaumont, Dale Frederick Slywka, is facing one count of possession of cocaine for the purpose of trafficking.
