City Council to resume in-person meetings again

Lloydminster City Council will be holding council meetings in person again after a four-month hiatus.

The public will also be able to attend the weekly council meetings again but will notice some changes so that City Hall can follow the Saskatchewan Health Act. There will be health guide signage in place, hand sanitation stations put up and spaced seating to help reduce the threat of COVID-19 at City Hall.

Seating will be available on a first-come, first-serve basis and anyone feeling unwell is asked to stay home. People can still live stream council meetings on the City’s website.

The next City Council meeting will be held on August 10th at 1:30PM. City Hall opened for all other business on June 29th.
