The Onion Lake RCMP says a suspect has been arrested after a fatal collision in the area.
On April 25th, officers were called to a home on Chief Taylor Road, where a 13-year old who had been riding a dirtbike was struck by a car. When police and EMS arrived, the teen had already passed away.
The driver did not stay at the scene, but was found at another home some time later. The man, 28-year-old Courtney Cook, has been arrested and charged.
He has been accused of two counts of impaired driving, and another count of failing to stop after an accident causing death.

Cook remains in custody, and will appear in Lloydminster Provincial Court on April 27th.
The family of the teen has been notified, and the investigation is ongoing.
