Maidstone RCMP were called out around 6:20 a.m. on Saturday to a two vehicle collision on Highway 17 north of Lloydminster.
As Emergency Crews including Lloydminster Rescue Squad dealt with the incident, the roadway remained closed in both directions for most of the day until about 3:30 p.m.
 Investigators say that a southbound and northbound vehicle collided. Both drivers were transported to hospital with non-life threatening injuries. There were no passengers in either vehicle.
 Maidstone RCMP and an RCMP Collision Reconstructionist continue to investigate.
