Maidstone RCMP have located a stolen semi-truck near Hillmond.
The black International semi was reported stolen out of Edmonton and was found Saturday, March 19th. When found, the vehicle had been meticulously taken apart and stripped of any valuable parts.
According to Sergeant Jolyne Harrison, the vehicle was missing almost everything: the tires were gone, the interior was gutted, the engine taken apart, and it’s believed the suspects will look to sell the parts.
The investigation is ongoing with the assistance of the Forensic Identification Section from North Battleford.
