Bonnyville RCMP have made a couple arrests following a traffic stop.

The Constable determined the vehicle was not stolen but neither occupant was the owner. Both occupants were known to police through and while speaking to the occupants, the officer smelled the odour of marijuana coming from the vehicle.

The 34-year-old, female passenger was arrested on outstanding warrants from Cold Lake and the male driver, arrested for Possession of Marijuana. Search of the vehicle revealed a small baggy of what was believed to be methamphetamine.
