In the fall, Lakeland College will provide three ways for students to take the healthcare aide programs.
The in-person option with classes and labs will be at the Lloydminster campus. Online theory and monthly weekend labs will also be at Lloydminster and Wainwright.
The program features three practicums for students to put their education into action and build their skills. Officials say students will be ready to work in the healthcare field in less than one year.
The Wainwright South Campus will lead an information session on Thursday July 7th at 7 p.m. at the Wainwright Communiplex. The Lakeland College admissions and enrolment team will be on-site to answer questions.

College administrators are grateful for the Government of Alberta’s support, which will allow Lakeland to grow its healthcare aide enrollment by 100 student places over the next three years.
