The Lloydminster Public School Division will celebrate its bus drivers as Saskatchewan is observing Bus Driver Appreciation Day on Monday Oct. 17.
The day falls within the Saskatchewan Library and as well Education week observances from Oct. 16 to 22.
LPSD officials will be giving a little gift and a certificate of recognition from education minister Dustin Duncan.
Schools in the division will be doing small gestures to recognize the service of their bus drivers. This will include greeting drivers in the morning with thank-you cards and treats, say LPSD staffers.
