Human remains have been located about an hour away from North Battleford, near the town of Arlee, SK.
Biggar RCMP and the RCMP Major Crime North division are investigating following the discovery of what appear to be human remains, found May 20, 2016, by a local Arlee resident, at a rural property.
More investigation is required to determine the identity of the deceased as well as the cause of death. An autopsy has been conducted on May 24, 2016
There is no word yet on the identity or sex of the deceased, as these processes can take a significant amount of time.
RCMP will provide an update on the investigation when more information is available.
