With a health facility assessment currently underway, Lloydminster residents will have a chance to weigh in on the health needs of the area on Sep. 18 at the Community Health Meeting.
Both AHS and SHA representatives will be in the room at the Legacy Centre to answer questions.
Two previous studies have gathered dust over the years with limited uptake on any recommendations.
Lloydminster currently does not have a seat on the SHA board and its health concerns are managed through an MOU with Alberta and Saskatchewan.
Apart from a 12-point priority list that has been delivered to the consultant leading the health assessment survey, Lloydminster seniors are also pressing for a replacement for the Jubilee Home.
Doors at the Legacy Centre open at 6:30 p.m. for the 7:00 p.m. forum. on Sep. 18.
