Wind warning issued for Lloydminster

Environment Canada has issued a wind warning (yellow-coded) for Lloydminster and area.

Impact Level: Moderate

Forecast Confidence: High

Strong northwest winds gusting to 90 km/h are expected on Thursday, Jan. 15 especially near noon.

Winds will strengthen on Thursday morning and persist through the day.

Winds will weaken in the evening.

Local utility outages are possible. Driving conditions will likely be difficult. Some property damage is possible.

Secure loose objects.
