Lakeland Rustlers men’s and women’s volleyball teams ranked number one in Canada

Both Lakeland College Rustlers volleyball teams are sitting on top of the national rankings as of Nov. 3 in the Canadian Collegiate Athletic Association (CCAA).

The Rustlers men’s and women’s volleyball teams are both ranked number one in Canada, a rare achievement for the program. Head coach Taylor Dyer says the ranking reflects the hard work, experience, and culture the teams have built over the years.

Dyer says the Rustlers have a veteran lineup on both sides and credits the players for creating an environment that’s driving success. He adds, “Rustlers volleyball is in a great place” and looks poised to stay there “for quite a while.”

The top ranking puts both Lakeland squads in the national spotlight as they continue their ACAC seasons.
