Search ongoing for missing Saddle Lake woman

The authorities are continuing to search for information about a young woman missing from the Saddle Lake area.

According to a police release sent out from the police on October 31, 2016, 22 year old Christine Cardinal was last seen north of the Bison Auto gas station on the morning of October 13, 2016. Cardinal had been the subject of a four-day search in the Saddle Lake area by the police, along with search and rescue teams from St. Paul. That search was called off on Wednesday of last week, after failing to find any trace of Cardinal.

The Saddle Lake resident is described as aboriginal, standing 5’9, weighing 123 pounds, with long black hair, brown eyes, with a scar on her right bicep and a cut on her top lip, and a tattoo of ‘ns’ on her left hand. She was last seen wearing a grey sweater and black shorts with no shoes.

New information released by the St. Paul RCMP has indicated that friends of Cardinal have said she’s known to frequent Lloydminster, as well as the Vancouver area. If you have any information on her whereabouts, please contact your local police detachment.
