Another extreme cold warning has been issued for the Lloydminster area.
Wind chill values have moderated this afternoon. However, values will reach -40 again overnight tonight and into Saturday morning.
Hypothermia and frost bite are worries in this type of weather and it is recommended to dress appropriately. Babies, the elderly, people working outside, and homeless are some of many that could be at risk of getting hypothermia or frost bite, if they are not dressed warmly.
Environment Canada also recommends protecting pets from the cold by limiting their time outside.
