A CN train has derailed near the Village of Chauvin.
Town officials said CN informed them of the derailment at approximately 3:30 a.m. In an email, CN said the train was travelling westbound and derailed 13 cars carrying grain. The company said there were no dangerous goods involved and no injuries.
Crews are currently on site and will be working throughout the day and evening to repair the tracks. CN said there is an investigation taking place on what caused the incident.
