Bobcats announce Evening of Champions speakers

TSN analysts James Duthie and Bob McKenzie are coming to Lloydminster.

The TV personalities will be guest-speakers at the Bobcats’ Evening of Champions dinner on Thursday, September 10.

“My son Mike played four years of junior A hockey so I know how important it is to create a sense of community with your hockey team and to do the fundraising necessary to have a successful year,” said McKenzie. “It’s all the more important and prestigious when you know you’re already going to be hosting an RBC Cup National Championship.”

Duthie also seemed excited at the prospect of visiting the Border City. “We’ll tell lots of good stories. I’ll mostly talk about all the times Bob almost got fired.”
