RCMP have arrested a man in relation to a sexual assault that happened on June 2, 2018.
The man broke into a home and assaulted a lone female. The victim was treated for injuries following the assault and released from Lloydminster Hospital.
After a thorough investigation, police arrested the man on September 29,2018. The 17-year-old will face six charges including Aggravated Sexual Assault, Carry a Weapon for Dangerous Purpose and attempt to Obstruct Justice.
The 17-year-old is in custody and made his first court appearance on October 1, 2018. He is scheduled to appear in Lloydminster Provincial Court on October 15, 2018 at 10:00 a.m.
