The Lloydminster Bobcats Athletic Therapist and Equipment Manager Hailee Dayman is headed to the World Junior A Challenge this December. The organization sent out a release Tuesday congratulating Dayman for being selected to join Team Canada West.

Dayman says she is excited to learn from the staff behind the bench and work with the top athletes in Canada at the junior level. She will be bringing along her experience that includes two years in the Manitoba Junior Hockey League and a previous appearance with Team Canada West that concluded with a bronze medal.

“[My experience brings] more time being on the bench and with different athletes, and seeing how different coaching staff even work and working with different athletic therapists and equipment managers and creating that family atmosphere and great work experience. ”

Dayman is responsible for making sure players bodies are ready to compete by helping with fitness on and off the ice. Her medical background allows her to respond to any potential injuries players my experience and assists players with the rehab process if needed.
